“I really enjoy the majority of the savoury and sweet options. The only improvement I would make is the jam donuts. The donut itself is good but the jam is more like a low quality syrup and I feel would be greatly enhanced with a better quality jam. I feel you could up the price with a better quality figure to offset any increased production cost. Just a thought from a happy customer”

“Popped in for a tea and croissant, unfortunately at 9.19 they'd already run out! Hense 4*. Tea though was beautiful, cant often, I fact really get a good takeaway tea. Fresh food in the cabinets looked tasty, there was a steady chain of customers coming in.”

“Cavendish Bakery is a local bakery that has been in Eastbourne for at least 45 years on the corner of Cavendish Place. My grandma got me treats from there like Swiss Buns and the cream slice which they don't seem to do anymore. Anyway, I have been away for a while so the first thing I did was eat there when I got back. Had the Steak and Kidney pie, Traditional pasty, Donut with cream and the Swiss Bun. The Swiss bun is a must because that sweet icing topping is so damn good with the soft bun. If I could go back in time I would have the cream slice again. BRING BACK THE CREAM SLICE”
